Mathematics

In Mathematics students explore using patterns and relationships to solve problems. Mathematics will give students effective means for making sense of the world around them, by investigating, interpreting, explaining, and use of patterns and relationships in quantities, space and time. Mathematicians use symbols, diagrams, and graphs to help solve problems both in real life and hypothetical situations.

Students will learn about the core Mathematics concepts including Number, Algebra, Statistics, Measurement, Geometry, and Probability through Year 9 and 10. During Year 11-13 they will be able to select the Mathematical course that best suits their needs, this includes Numeracy, Calculus, Statistics, and Mathematics with Applications.

Our teachers aim to motivate and inspire all students to achieve their best mathematically in real life and in their future careers and become adults who contribute to their community.
